Done with this chapter of my life. It’s been amazing.
When I was in elementary school I set myself two goals for high school: to be class president and valedictorian. Achieved those two things this year :)

So I’m taking this government class online…
and it’s not weird that I don’t look forward to writing the essays.
But it probably is weird why…which is that I really find the textbook interesting, and the essays take up too much time before I can start reading the textbook again.
That’s weird.

“…what I…want to communicate is how I intend to approach senior year, based on a philosophy of leadership and servanthood that originated from working with you guys.
First of all, I sincerely hope that no one ever listens to someone just because they hold the title of president, because labels of leadership never justify authority. True leadership is not about position, but about example and trust. If I can’t show you the reasons for my decision, I have failed. If I can’t inspire you by example and dedication, I have failed. If I must rely on my title, I don’t deserve my title. And if you ever see me dictating but not doing, correct me.
In sophomore year, Andrew and I ran on the platform of impact. As a class we’ve grown a lot since then. We’ve developed into a class to be respected for our ambition and our excellence.
But while immediate impact is great, lasting impact is better. As seniors next year, we will hold the reins of leadership. We will have the God-given ability and thus the obligation to create a legacy. Five, ten, fifteen years from now, I don’t want us to be remembered as just the class that graduated in 2013. I don’t want us to be identified by a faceless set of four numbers. I want us to be remembered as the class that started tithing. The class that had a junior camping trip. The class that broke the mold. The class that gave back to the school. The class guided by a desire to serve God and further his kingdom.
My vision for senior year is that we leave a legacy not of our mere existence but of what we did for our school, for the students that follow in our footsteps, and for the lives of those we touch.
I ask that each of you will join me in pursuing this legacy.”

Junior year coming to a close, and I’m pretty dang happy.
Been a successful year with lots of growth. I’ve learned a lot and I’m looking forward to a fantastic senior year. It’s gonna be great.
And finally get to implement…impact vision legacy (: hahaa
I deserve none of what I have accomplished.
You may admire my drive, scoff at my ambition, or attack my achievements.
But none of it is mine to take credit for.
I give all the glory to God because nothing I have would be mine without His grace and gifts.
1 Corinthians 9:26, NLT
“I run with purpose in every step.”
